Now we are talking, "Flagship"

OnePlus have finally unveiled their next and their greatest, the OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro. Hold your horses cause this time the phone does promise a true flagship experience but comes with a hefty price.

Here are the specs that OnePlus flagship has to offer, The OnePus 8 Pro has a Snapdragon 865 with 8/12 GB of LPDDRX5 RAM for OnePlus8 Pro and LPDRRX4 RAM for the OnePlus8, a 120 Hz Fluid Display, Quad Camera setup and a 30W WARP Charge Turbo Charger and finally it has support for a mind-boggling 30W WARP Charge Turbo Proprietary 'Wireless Charger'.

Both the OnePlus 8 pro and it's brethren comes with an amazing screen, it has HDR10 and HDR10+ support with up to 1200 and 1100 Nit peak brightness respectively. The talking point about this screen is that it comes with a 10-bit colour display with 1 Billion colours that's 64 times more than the average phone. This means that the colours that this phone will reproduce are much more colour accurate and vibrant than any other Smartphone.

Another talking point is that it comes with a quadruple-camera a 120 Hz display and it lets you keep the original resolution without dialling it down, although you can switch the resolution to 1080 for 60 or 120 Hz for better battery performance.

The main downside of this phone display-wise would be the hole punch cut-out which is annoying to say the less, but nothing to take away from the gorgeous display this phone offers. Another thing that might be a hit or miss among the users is that it offers an "Edge screen" or "Waterfall display" which is prone to some accidental touches but none the less it is an amazing display as they claimed it to be.

Apart from that OnePlus8 Pro offers a 48 Megapixel Primary Camera, 48 Megapixel Ultra-Wide Camera, a 3x Telephoto Lens and a 5 Megapixel Colour Filter Camera while the OnePlus 8 offers, 48 Megapixel Primary Camera, 16 Megapixel Ultra-Wide Camera, a 3x Telephoto Lens and a 2 Megapixel Macro Lens. The new colour filter camera offers different filters that could be applied to make the picture even more beautiful.

OnePlus had already joined the bandwagon of 5G, but this time they have teamed up with Verizon to provide better support for 5G technology. And, 5G isn't the only step to provide better internet support, the OnePlus8 series also provides support for WIFI6 for a better experience while streaming or playing games online.

Talking about the prices The OnePlus8 starts from $699(Nearly Rs.54,000) and The OnePlus8 Pro starts from $899(Nearly Rs.69,000). Talk about premium huh!

We seriously hope that OnePlus making claims on a few features during the Launch Event by comparing it to the iPhone, pay off well. So, these were our views on the brand new OnePlus8 Series do let us know what do you think about the latest release of the OnePlus8 Series in the comments below.
